In the court of a far-away kingdom, the Princess grapples with her faith: believe in the word of God or in the Ministers who rule through her? The incompetence of governance is thrown into question when the status quo is threatened as the end of days approaches. Inspired by the recent term of former Prime Minister Scott Morrison, "The Year of Our Lord" was a collaboratively devised piece that utilised verbatim dialogue from Australian politics and real-world events to create a medieval parable that quickly devolves into a grotesque, post-dramatic hellscape.
